Can anyone recommend a source for the stainless steel clamps used on Nigel Dennis and Rockpool sectional kayaks? I’ve heard them described as ski boot clasps, but those all seem to be curved whereas these kayak clamps are flat.

That said, the above suggestion is probably better - if you get latches from people who make sectionals, you are more likely to get reliable product.
Securing Hatchcover straps?
I wonder if these can be adapted to tighten hatchcover straps. Current Designs has (or used to have) something like this to tighten the straps on their hatchcovers. Have never found anything comparable in the aftermarket.
