Serial Number New Wave Mongoose?

I picked up a second hand New Wave Mongoose. I can’t find the serial number on it. Can anyone help me/

Should be near the stern
On the outside, stamped into or etched into the plastic

Some states require registration, or launch permits. PA requires either or.



I spent an hour hunting for the hull number on my Perception. Finally found it scribed on the outside of the hull very faintly on the very back of the stern on the right side. Got my PA launch permit at the lake and they didn’t even ask for it. Said Fish and Game commission asks if you get it through them, but it’s not required.

Once considered buying a composite
Mongoose, but it was a tight fit. Interesting, advanced for an “old school” ww boat.
