I’m going to get in my first paddle of the year, and last paddle I’m going to get for a long while, today. Taking a fishing rod and about a zillion hair jigs, and I’m going to be searching out big smallmouth bass in their spring foraging runs.

I’m planning on my first fishing/paddle trip tomorrow at a local lake. Made a few rigging changes to yak and have a new AT bent shaft paddle and portable fish finder to try out. Mostly i can’t wait to get back in the boat again.
