Hey everyone. New kayak guy here. Just wondering if anyone has had a kayak shipped to their house and how the experience went. I am looking at a Vibe Shearwater 125 but they don’t sell them here in New Hampshire and the closest place to pick one up is Maryland. Any good or bad experiences with having one delivered?

Shipping is always iffy… See if the seller guarantees condition.
Best to meet the delivery and inspect boat before the driver leaves.
Take pics if packing looks damaged and during unpacking.

Some crate…some don’t.
I was planning on having it shipped to work since I run Shipping and Receiving. I guess its a matter of rolling the dice.
