For any of you folks with older kayaks that have the original Seal Line Smart Track Rudders, if for some reason you have to change the track and pedals out, be ready for a some extra work as I found out yesterday.
The Original Seal Line tracks have the two mounting holes spaced at 14-5/8" on center and the new “Smart Track” ones are at 14-1/2" on center.
You will have to elongate one of the holes in your boat to accomodate them, and then either do a small patch job, or what I did which was to use a large rubber washer with a fender washer over it on the outside of the hull.
