Softening stiff straps

I have a Suspenz storage rack, and the straps are getting a little stiff. Does anyone know a way to soften them up? I’d like to leave them on the rack to do so.

What material is the strap made of?

Nylon. They’re in good enough condition, but I’d like to treat them with something for longevity.

Try soaking them in water and fabric softener. It often does good for smaller straps and nylon rope. But don’t expect miracles.

Try 303.

If you leave them out all the time they can fail.
303 is a good idea.
