Some cold fishing in Myrtle Beach...

Here are some pics from the last couple days of fishing here in Myrtle Beach. I’m ready for spring!

Hat’s Off To You…
no way I’ll be out there with a rod until as the saying goes, “the oak leaves are the size of squirrel ears.” Late April - New England trout and landlock salmon fishing should be in full swing. And, then salt water for returning stripers in late May.

Lot’s O fun
Fishing at the beach sounds like fun. Me and a buddy fishes the local lakes here in NC. but we haven’t tried fishing on the ocean yet. I probably couldn’t get him out there something about large boat sized hungry fish wouldn’t set well with him and me too. Some day I would like to try it though. The cold water is another story, we seem to be having an unusually cold winter here in NC. It has been freezing cold in the mornings hunting so it’s bound to be cold at the ocean especially with the ocean breezes. Better luck fishing next time.
