Hi all. I haven't been on the forums for a while. I live in central IL and primarily paddle the Salt Fork and Middle Fork of the Vermilion River.
I use a Mohawk Odyssey 14 solo canoe and a Necky Vector 13 SOT kayak. The rivers I paddle are mostly slow moving, rocky rivers with some fun class 0.5 riffle sections but no whitewater.
My wife is interested in a SOT kayak to use when she occasionally comes with me on a down river day trip. She quite likes my Vector 13, but she wants something smaller and, most importantly, lighter. She is about 5'5 and 150 lbs.
Any ideas?
