What I'd like to see:
a) Demos. wonder if we could talk some dealers
to bring boats in to demo? There would be no
guarantee to buy, but maybe we could get some
folks to show up.
b) Classes or something. My background is
basically white water and there's a lot I'd like
to learn in this new world; including, but not
limited to: self rescue.

Instruction / Demos on Lake Erie
I’m the owner of 41° North Kayak Adventures, a guide service and sea kayak school in Cleveland, Ohio. We do a number of programs up in the Erie Islands, including day trips, and instruction from beginner to advanced levels (e.g., BCU 4* assessments and ACA instructor workshops).
This summer we’re bringing in Dale Williams to run a 3-day ACA Open Water Sea Kayaking Instructor Development Workshop on Gibraltar Island (right smack in the middle of Put-in-Bay). The dates for the IDW are June 22-24, with an Basic Coastal ICE July 21-22 and an Open Water ICE October 5-7 (when conditions are more likely to be favorable).
In addition to instruction and guiding, we are a P&H Sea Kayaks demo center and also offer demos for Werner Paddles.
