My sister and I are starting to firm up our end of June vacation route a bit more and are going to be traveling around from Black Canyon area to Colorado Springs. We are willing to travel north or south from basically Route 50 to find a beautiful area that has rental kayaks at lake(s) (so we don’t have to transport on a rental car). We are looking for 4-5 hours of paddling at any good areas. that anyone might be willing to suggest to us to check out. Would like quiet water areas that would be scenic and maybe even give us some wildlife views. Would be happy to join anyone from those areas who might have extra kayaks and are interested in showing us their hidden treasure paddle spots. We just want to have an awesome time and adventure.
