Spray Skirt advice

I need some advice on what type of spray skirt to purchase for my OT sport kayak. The boat’s cockpit opening is 33" x 17" it is a very tight fit for me, due to the fact that I am 6’3, 235, (in great physical shape); but that is what I love about this boat, the cockpit looks like that of a fighter jet. Also when do you use the spray skirt, is it just used in whitewater kayaking or are they recommended for ocean kayaking as well? So far I have only been on lakes and can’t really see a need for them when paddling flatwater. I was thinking about getting this spray skirt, and would welcome any ideas or opinions on this item;

didn’t you
already ask this exact question about a week ago? Anyway,if ya can find em to fit the OT sport cockpits, it should work ok. nylon will let more water in with heavy waves action ,splashs. neoprene will be more water proof but warmer and more expensive.

Thank you
Yes, I did ask this same question on the other message board, but no one had given any advice or opinions on the Prijon Wildwasser Pocket System Spray Deck. Do you think this spray skirt would be suitable for performing kayak rolls?

SnapDragon
I would get a neoprene snapdragon sprayskirt-will cost around 85.00 and worth it. Snapdragon will custom make the sprayskirt and get it too you quickly. It will be far better for rolling then a nylon one.

Snapdragon Neo
I concur with the previous post. I HIGHLY recommend Snapdragon skirts. I prefer the one with the neoprene deck, gortex tunnel and velcro closure on tunnel.
