Has any one paddled the St. Joseph River between Mottville, MI and Bristol IN during summer time such as August? How low can it be?
The data I studied shows August as the month with the lowest discharge; however, I was not able to find data showing historical gage height, so I am kind of lost trying to estimate how deep/shallow it can be.
In addition, assuming the river is very low: does any one know the composition of the bottom of the river? mud, sand, rocks, limestone, etc…
