i do
on boards, in my tandem, in my solo when i’m sober.

but, it’s tough. it’s one hell of a workout, and that’s coming from someone who loves to race marathon canoes – a grunt sport at best.

the view is incredible, and it’s a great way to work on strength and balance.

not overly impressed with the boards based on planing/surfing designs. they’re slow in the flats.

have never paddled a racing board like a bark though.

SUP’s
Tried it last week at Osprey Sea Kayaks in Wesport, Mass. It is a blast and a great workout. If you live in the New England area, Mike Simpson (osprey sea kayaks) is giving a clinic/demo this weekend at Collinsville Canoe and Kayak.
