Hi does anyone know the weight capacity of the stellar mod 19 kayak? On their site it says 350lbs, which seems way too light for a tandem kayak, but i don’t know much. I emailed them but have never heard back. Just thought someone here might know something about them. I thought it might be a cool idea for my wife and I, but if it is really only 350lb capacity we would be over it by 100 lbs.

Awesome thanks. That sounds closer to what I was hoping for. Not sure yet, but thought about getting one this Christmas for the wife and I. I would love to set in one first though. Who knows though what I will end up with. I just really liked the design.

As a tandem it paddles with the control and fit of the ST21 but more of the stability of the ST17. Speed falls somewhere in between. I rather like the skeg on the tandem option. It also stores as your personal mini-boathenge. Paddle now and at Christmas. Don’t wait for Christmas to paddle.
