It dosent pay to be in a hurry! I have managed to crack the shaft and would like to know how to repair it. Or should just buy another paddle. I am looking at Pacific Design for my next paddle any way.

If it crack is near the center…
…the best way to repair it may be to shorten the shaft and re-drill the latch hole(s). I think I have some instructions written up on the procedure, which I’ll be glad to send you if you email me.
