I’m looking for a place to rent a kayak rack near a boat launch (too hard for me to get it from my city backyard into the car), in the Harrisburg area. Gifford Pinchot State Park rents racks seasonally–that would work. Anyone know of other options?
@kat2 Try Blue Mountain Outfitters near Harrisburg or Shanks Mare near York, both are on the Susquehanna River. Also, a friend is a member of a club that stores kayaks and launches from the green dot on the map. If you know the area, you may be able to find information that helps you.
Pick a location and then make a flyer with your picture and the boat and leave it at the addresses you desire. Leave your email and what you want to pay. I’ve had great luck doing that.
