Talked to the people at Delta Kayak and they suggested putting foam around the plastic pipe,and strap where it contacted the boat. The swim noodle I used pushed the contact point out so there is no more touching the day pod rim. I’ll take out the boat when we’re not storming, and it will be a pleasurable paddle.
