The foot pegs inside my CD Caribou are stuck. I’ve tried hosing it with water and rapping it with mallet to loosen and remove sand without success. Any suggestions before I unscrew and remove the rails?

Throw them away and foam back from the bulkhead… your feet will love it…
Alas for the plasti bulkheads on CD
boats. Now way can they take the stress of that for long. Got to put in a proper bulkhead as a DIY project.

I haven’t had a problem in my Caribou and I’ve put a lot of hard miles on it. I think the foam absorbs a lot of the energy.
