Superior built Sawyers?

I see that Superior is building Sawyer Somersong and Shockwave.Does anybody Know anything about this company and if ther are the same as the old Sawyers?

Same molds, different laminates

Steve designs and builds 10-12 layer expedition canoes along the lines of Verlan Kruger's. He came into the Sawyer molds quite inexpensively, and decided to build a few. Probably a very few, they are very old designs that the designer has, himself, eclipsed a couple times over.

Steve seems to be a good contact laminator, and surely knows bombproof, but I've yet to see one
of the hulls.
