surf scull rig for SUPs!

The thread about canoe or kayak conversion to a rowing shell got me thinking about Alden, who makes more affordable plastic rowing shells. but they now have a rig to mount to your SUP!

Interesting
I would be tempted to buy the system if I could demo it first. I would probably get a longer racing board dedicated to this and put the more permanent fastening system. I would make my 14’ Tahoe Zephyr go pretty fast while providing a great cross-training exercise. I noticed the rower’s hands were crossing over each other. Is this common with sculling?

Yes, crossing hands is standard
Beginning rowers should really maintain a short figure nails to avoid cutting your lower hand.
