Surfski kick up rudder up haul question

I am adding a smart track kick up rudder to my Epic V10. For those who have added aftermarket or have one installed, I’m curious to see how you ran your uphaul to the cockpit. Pics would be helpful if you have them. TIA!

It’s not a ski, but on my QCC the uphaul line just runs on top of the deck to a clam cleat behind the cockpit. Being a touring kayak, there are already a lot of lines and straps on deck so that little uphaul line just blends in. This is the best photo I could find:

If I had to do it on a surfski I would do like on the Cobra Eliminator, with the cable visible going all the way to the pedals.
