Hello everyone, great resource you all have here. My wife and I are new to kayaking - finally a hobby we can enjoy together, and I can fish while we do it. That’s what we call a win/win!
We are interested in floating from somewhere below the Conowingo to Havre de Grace. The river is very tidal the closer you get to Havre de Grace, and we were out last weekend and launched from Lapidum. There was a stiff south wind, and the tide was coming in, so it was tough sledding for my wife. Is this a do-able float, assuming the dam has some large gates open, without the south wind?
