We will be in the area in a few weeks with our kayaks. I was wondering if it’s possible/enjoyable to do a round trip kayak from the Milton SP boat launch? We’ll have two 18’ yaks with us. We won’t have the ability to shuttle. Any knowledge/recommendations would be greatly appreciated …

It’s about 50 miles to the east of Milton, but do you know about this free paddler shuttle service in Delaware Water Gap?

I do, and we’re definitely planning on trying out the Gap shuttle. Unfortunately, we won’t be able to make any major detours from the Milton, PA area. We’ll be staying in the area for the night, and just looking to paddle in the general vicinity, if possible.

I can’t help with the Milton area but I did do the Lewisburg to Sunbury and back route. Very enjoyable. River is low right now but should be doable. I know you can put in at Lewisburg near the bridge.
