Hi,
we are looking for tipps where to go in Sweden or Norway. We’ll have about 7-9 days there and would like to go as remote from civilication as possible.
We did two tours in Algonquin in Canada where you can choose parts where you don’t meet anyone in days. So that’s what we are looking for.
Time: End of August/Beginning of September
How about mosquitos arround that time? Any differences in location? Can you tell how bad it should be around that time or does it depend mostly from weather before?

Sweden/Norway
I just got back from a 6 week trip to northern Sweden and I have to tell you that I was very disappointed in that it seemed impossible to get away from civilization. There is even less chance in southern Sweden. I would say that your best bet in Sweden would be NW of the Jokkmokk/ Gallivare area, towards the mountains.
