I’ll be attending a family reunion in Corvallis sometime between the middle of July - first two weeks of August. Can anyone tell me if there are any kayak symposiums in Portland during that time? (I couldn’t find any listed) Can anyone suggest any great paddling areas/kayak (rental)shops? It’s going to be great seeing everyone again, but I want to take advantage of new kayaking opportunities. It’s a bit later than you were interested in but the two companies are hosting a kayaking gathering - the LoCo Roundup August 24-26. Details on Ginni’s website.

happening and rent boats at Alder Creek in Portland. Very knowledgeable people.
