So you are in Costa Rica and your going to start a business doing River kayaking (class I & II) and Mango swamp/sea coast canoe tours - what are the right or best boats for this?

Pretty much any 10 or 12 foot sit-on-top.
You really need to be spying on existing
outfitters in Costa Rica, and not asking us. I know an outfitter who uses ordinary Royalex tandem canoes for class 1-2 river runs, but I don’t know what they use for the seacoast. I personally don’t favor SOTs because they are kinda mediocre in all water conditions, but naive customers might like them.
