third canoe seat

Looking for a third canoe seat/portage rack. I remember my dad had one for his Grumman. Anyone know who makes them?

right idea, but…
the one for the grumman was aluminum tubing with two pads across in the center. You would fasten it to the thwarts, and then remove it, and flip it over to use it for portaging.

pretty close
the one I am thinking of has two separate pads spaced about 6 inches apart so you can put your head between them for portaging
