Thule J-rack on TracRack - How?

I’m having trouble figuring out how to mount a Thule 835Pro (folding J-rack) onto the cross bars of my Trac-Rac. A couple vendors told me the Adapt3 kit would work (longer bolts), but I got that and it’s too short by about 1/2".



I figure someone on here has done this. How?

The folks at ORS (where I got the Xadapt3) called me back today, and said they set up a TracRac, and a Thule J-rack down in the warehouse, and tried out a few setups to see what would actually work.

They found that the Xadapt6 will work. Hopefully that proves true when that arrives in a couple days.

(by the way, ORS waived the shipping for the second shipment, so that was friendly.)
