Just wondering if this is normal? This paddle has many tiny holes in the clear coat. It’s easy to see when the light hits it the right way.
Those look like voids left during vacuum bagging the paddle blades. In my opinion, it’s not acceptable on a high-end paddle. I just looked at my all-carbon Werner Camano and saw a very few similar voids but I really had to hunt - nothing like the high concentration in your picture.
None on my Werner Camano all carbon…
Voids in the epoxy… should have been sold heavily discounted as a blem if at all. Even then, I wouldn’t want my name it…
Thanks, all. I decided to send it back. I had some other reasons, too, but these blemishes seal the deal. I emailed Werner to ask, so it’ll be interesting to see what they think.
