Touring Board Shops in Connecticut?

Hi All - first post here so allow me to provide a quick background. I’ve been paddling the CT shores of Long Island Sound for 5+ years now, on a BIC soft-tec all-around board. My fitness level has increased and I’m looking to now get more distance and speed out of my morning paddles (currently around 2.5-3 miles a day). I put a touring fin on and that has helped, but I think I’m ready to switch to a narrower, slightly longer touring board. The trouble is, I have not found many local shops that carry touring boards.

I’m not 100% sure where I stand on the inflatable/rigid debate, but I will say I live and do my paddling on a VERY rocky coastline.

Any input on board shops in CT, suggested boards, etc., would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much in advance.

Have you been to Collinsville Canoe and Kayak ? They have touring boards.

Oh nice, thank you - I may head up there this weekend!
