I have a 12 foot Wilderness Systems Pungo and a 12 foot Old Town Pack. I need a new car and like the Prius. But will this car effectively transport my boats? I take the Pungo to the lake in the spring and bring it home in the fall. That’s it. But I transport my canoe to various places about every three weeks or so. I know Thule offers a rack and I have also seen some interesting trailers. (Though I’m told the Prius should not be used for towing.) How about experienced Prius owners providing some advice?

but I don’t see you have any problems using a Thule rack or similar rack with the proper attachments with a Prius. Even better if the car comes with a factory roof rack then just purchase the attachment kit.
