I have an 03 ranger too…

2.3 first time i got an automatic... I get 28-29 mpg in summer and 25 in winter and when I carry boats. It's a great little truck although it it somewhat underpowered when in cruise control in hilly areas. My 3rd ranger, all 2.3l all had 200k+ , owed me nothing when I got rid of 'em... most of my driving is highway speeds...

Until the new diesel fuel is available everywhere in the USA the EPA will not allow engines that have been designed to run on only on it to be imported anywhere in the USA.



Wish I had a Passat TDI Wagon or Jetta TDI Wagon.



I want to get double the mileage!!
