TS Phillippe - Another East Coast Fish Storm Path

Although not powerful storm (relative to previous), the path should generate waves up the east coast. New England should see action next weekend.

Latest forecast track brings Phillippe farther west, with a possible landing in Downeast ME. This would be a near replication of recent Hurricane Lee’s track that ended up landing in Nova Scotia/Bay of Fundy.

For sure, waves for New England beginning Friday through the long weekend.

For sure, this has been the “surfiest” summer along the east coast. Still some of the remnant waves from the no-name storm rolling in this AM. Now the build up waves of Phillippe are on the way. Sunday looks to be head plus. Question is what will the winds be doing.

Phillippe delivers! Surfers’ delight today. Head to head plus waves. Stacked into steep faces by a stiff ofshore wind in 20 knot range. Wavetops blowing off into long, wispy horsetails. What a sight.

Mahalo!
