Manitou vs Tsunami

I've owned both a Manitou 14 and a Tsunami 165. Additionally, I've paddled Tsunami 140's as well. I give high marks to the Tsunami for stability and comfort and a slight edge to the Manitou for speed and handling (as it is a little lighter). The day hatch on the Tsunami is a nice touch.....in my 165 it IS separated by an extra bulkhead....not so on some of the shorter models. The high seat back on the Manitou's makes for a difficult reentry should you have to do a wet exit and reentry. My 2 cents worth.....
