does anyone know if tugeye.com is out of business? I wanted to order but read about some recent unresponsiveness problems.
I recently had an issue…
with the company but it has been resolved.
I ordered a kit for composite boats and received no response for a week. Sent an email query which also received no response for another week. A few days later I filed a grievance with Paypal and requested a refund. A few days after that I received an email from the company stating he had been away and the automated advisory he had set up to run during his absence failed to function properly. He was apologetic and promised to send out the product ASAP but as it turned out he was out of stock thus refunded my money promptly.
I’ve had no subsequent communication with the company but nothing during the process indicated a “no longer in business” scenario. I believe he’s simply a one horse operator with his side business, keeps a minimal inventory and may not have a lickety split delivery time.
That said, I’ve used his products several times in the past, liked them and would order again… after I queried him as to status

might be best to phone. IIRC Dan travels a lot.
