The question about transporting a large dog in a kayak is often asked here. Yesterday a guy had two on a tandem SOT. It was a group paddle and he reportedly had no trouble keeping up.

Was on the water a couple weeks ago and noticed two kayaks in the cove; one guy fishing in a SINK; couldn’t tell who was in the other boat.
I watched when he headed for the access and noticed the second kayak was tied to his. His dog rode in the second boat - which had a huge cockpit. Big friendly hound. Paddled over to talk with him. He said his dog is his fishing companion and that he had attached a water bowl inside so it wouldn’t tip. His and her kayaks.
