Thanks for sharing the trip reports. Both lakes look like they’d be worth the trip. Ok, a little too far a drive for me. The Utica reservoir trip made me think of the French River here in Ontario.

Sorry to hear you’re still snowed in. We had a fairly late ice out here in Southern Ontario too, but managed to get our first trip of the year in from April 28 - May 2nd. The cabin fever leading up that trip just about killed me. If you want some new pictures to daydream over, here are some from the other week:
