At what tide is it most likely to be lively?

Sea Kayak Georgia would know, and
you might want to get in one of their rough water classes. I’ve seen them take groups out to surf the big waves of the triangle.

Usually…
…two hrs. before high is the time to head out, play till 2 hrs. into ebb, then sneak back up far river left of Tybee creek.

Alley 3 or Inlet Av
Alley 3 or Inlet Av. You will need a parking permit which you can buy on the street “downtown” Tybee Island. You will drive by SKG as you come on to the island, so stop and visit. Great folks and a ton of local knowledge.
