Nice to not have boats roaring by while on such a pretty river.
saw one canoe on upper iowa- I paddled early and during the week, and no other boats on the yellow, big paint creek, wapsi. Saw two kayaks at the put in on the Volga and a group of four or five in kayaks right before the take out.
