I have a Valley Avocet RM with a skeg problem. The tubing that contains the skeg cable has come loose at the control box, so it moves back and forth with the cable and so the cable fails to actuate the skeg. I’ve tried several ways to secure the tube without success. Has anyone else had this problem and found a solution? I would be grateful for a remedy.
kayakacademy.com has valley skeg parts and some instructions. I have used their repair parts with success.
