Hello! I just bought a plastic Valley Etain this weekend, and it has a little dayhatch pod that loves to slip out of its well. Does anyone here own this model? What was your solution to keep the pod in place?
I'm not super thrilled at the idea of drilling holes in my hull to bolt it down, but I was thinking I could glue a long strip of velcro to the underside of the pod and a matching strip to the well. Does anyone know what kind of marine cement will stick to rotomolded plastic kayaks and rubber hatches, as well?
