Very old Grumman canoe 356_5-13 Bethpage

I have a canoe that I believe from family stories dates back to the 40’s.I am not very good on the computer and would appreciate any suggestions or help.The front tag says 356-5-13 and Bethpage N.Y.and I was told that it was bought in the 40’s

If it says Bethpage its an early one as old as Fat Elmo. Maybe the folks in Marathon, NY where the factory has been for 50 years or so could shed light on its vintage.

I am not sure but I think the 5 might mean .05" aluminum. I think the 13 means it is 13 feet long. It might equate to the current G-1350C.
