VHF Marine Radio's

I am looking to purchase a hand held VHF Radio. I searched online. There are so many to choose from. I don’t want to spend a fortune but I want what I need on the water. Not sure what I should make sure it has and don’t want to pay for things I won’t really need.Could use some advise.

ICOM M2A
Gets my vote. Alot for a little. I have one. It works well, very satisfied. Holds a charge for a long time. Waterproof. It is not expensive. That’s all I need.

if you want it as a last line of defense
Get an ICOM and get a lithium battteried model.
