The Winchester Wasteway, is a narrow passage of excess irrigation water that cuts through the Columbia Wildlife Area. The entry point for this trip was on Dotson Rd. After about eight hours the paddlers reached their destination, Potholes Reservoir.
Others have reported great bass fishing here, however no fish were caught on this day. The we did enjoy hours of beautiful sunshine and wildlife; including birds, turtles and carp.
