It was “rush hour” at Little Falls last Saturday morning . There was a big class of kayakers from Calleva River School. Along with a couple guys in a raft. And a couple guys in canoes. Weather was beautiful and water level was fairly low, so lots of people turned out.
I bet the river school kayakers are getting a kick out of seeing their runs.
I started paddling the Potomac R above the Falls in 1960 as a Boy Scout in canoes.
No one thought that everyone would be running the Falls in 3 different kinds of boats.

yeah, gotten lots of nice feedback from the kayakers. talked to some of them out there that day. In my short few months since I started the channel, my broad stereotype is that kayakers are an unusually friendly and positive bunch of people. and surprisingly welcoming to a guy like me who is not a kayaker, just a photographer. they really love seeing photos and videos of themselves out on the river. just posted another new video today…
