Video: Swiftwater Rescue Boat Training at Great Falls
A few more clips from another day at Great Falls, featuring some local fire departments out training among the kayakers and rafters. The fire dept rescue boats repeatedly practiced high-speed maneuvers up and down the Mather Gorge. All those kids out rafting had plenty of help on hand if they needed it. Everyone was safe for the time I was watching at least. And it was cool to watch the boats maneuver through the whitewater and pull off high-speed turns in such close quarters.
