really liked the C1, and the ability to use body english. Looked like the NewBoston course to me at first, with snow-melt level erasing all the rocks. Brutally high flow there.
Funny story, some years back, a slalom guy on New Boston missed the last gate, threw his paddle in disgust…and got flushed downstream to the nearby well named “decoration rock”, which had a 5’ pourover and a fang shaped rock at the bottom, which natural flow would have you getting impaled on…don’t think he returned for the afternoon session
