Water level on the San Juan River

I will be going on the San Juan River (UT) next week. Initially, I was concerned about low water levels but the flow is around 1800 cfs today (3/23), which is above the median flow. Has anyone paddled this river at that level? What are the impacts on the rapids on this river at the higher flow?

That’s a bit more water than we had.
And it’s plenty. You’ll have good current, and enough of the rocks in the rapids will be covered that you won’t have to get technical. The waves in some rapids can be boat-fillers, but in all cases there are routes that let you skirt the biggest waves and holes.

Be sure you have warm gear at night. It dropped below freezing one night when we were there.
