6x32 Katmai. I bought mine at Eagle Optics. Excellent in a moving boat. 8 or 10 magnification is not as easy to use on the water or if your eyes are a bit dicey as are mine.

I also use a monocular, takes up little space in my pdf pocket and is good for what I need it for.
When I pack binoculars, they’re for stargazing, and they’re a pretty big pair, not suitable for on water use.
I have a developing cataract in one eye
so a monocular makes even more sense. Also, my eyes require such different optical correction that using binoculars does not make sense. Binoculars weigh more, and do not do much more.
