Hi! I’m looking for suggestions for a weekend trip in NY or PA, within 2-3 hours of Northern NJ. Delaware would be nice, except I’m looking for more primative camping rather than campgrounds, and the lower Delaware has motorboats.
Has anyone been on the west branch Delaware or way northern Susquehanna in NY state?

You can always paddle the Hudson River and camp on HRWT sites which are a mixure of Primative sites and sometimes some campsites on the hudson such as Mills Norrie…
